Tife Kusoro
orpheus wrote a romcom
we fall asleep like the tiny flame on the thermostat
when the room is just
jobless as pyjama pockets why stay awake when
poems write themselves
act ii plays in the background: boy climbs the sun to find
the sun is a bonnet on a pillowcase, a red stripe resting
on the windowsill, two bodies plotless as a lullaby
hushing Hades
